

The two-axis miniature joystick provides proportional analog outputs for pitch and roll. A three axis version of the joystick is also available providing a twist axist. One or two levers provide for throttle or height control. The joystick and levers are analog inputs with 12 bit resolution.
There are four back-lit push buttons, two latching and two momentary.

The case measures 6"x6"x 2.75" (150 x 150 x 70 mm). The joystick adds 2.25" (57 mm). to the height.
An external 6.5 volt power supply is provided for U.S. use. International customers will need to procure a local adaptor.
A 25 foot cable is provided between the BeeBox (DB-9 connector) and the host for (either PC-DB-9, MiniDIN-8, or SG-DB-9 connector).
Source code, written in C, is provided for all functions needed to configure and sample the BeeBox. The software is provided on CD. The software is fully compatible with BG Systems FlyBox®.
Depending on the baud rate and the number of channels selected, update rates between 30-300 Hz can be achieved.
The BeeBox has been tested on several Unix Workstations, Macintosh, Linux, and "Wintel" PC computers. Consult BG Systems if you have a platform not listed.
The BeeBox can run at baud rates between 2400 and 115200.
